Discover all the things you can do at the Rec beyond working out and you could earn some big rewards this year at Rock the Rec: RECXPLORATION! Like any great adventure, you’ll explore new things, overcome challenges, and experience the thrill of success on a quest for treasure, like an Apple Watch, Ipad, flat-screen TV, Beats headphones, and more!

We’re also partnering with CSU Dining and Catering to fuel your journey with:

  • Walking Tacos: 11:30am-1:00pm
  • A selection of tasty samples: 2:00-3:30pm
  • Loaded “Cookie Nacho” Bar: 3:30-5:30 pm

Plus, free t-shirts for completing your passport, raffles and giveaways, fun challenges, and more! Stop by the Rec Center anytime during the event to complete your RECXPLORATION quest.?

No pre-registration is required. Simply show up and have fun!
Food, t-shirts, and giveaway items will be available while supplies last. Grand prize and raffle prize winners will be drawn after the event and notified to claim their prize.

More About This Awesome Event!

The inaugural Rock The Rec event took place in August of 2007, one year after the Cleveland State Recreation Center first opened it's doors. Since then, Rock The Rec has become our most successful flagship event, growing in popularity each year.

Whether you're new to Cleveland State or a veteran viking, This event is a wonderful way to kick off the new year, make some new friends, and see what Campus Recreation Services is all about - while having a lot of fun!?You do not want to miss it!
