How to Calculate Your Grade Point Average (GPA)

Your grade point average (GPA) is calculated by dividing the total amount of grade quality points earned by the total amount of credit hours attempted. Your grade point average may range from 0.0 to a 4.0.

Grade point hours include those course credits with grades of A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, D, F, and X. Please consult your academic department and college for specifics regarding minimum GPA requirements. See the calculation example
